Gerald W. Huston began his legal career at Lord, Bissell & Brook, a top-ten Chicago law firm, where he began developing his extensive experience in nursing home and medical negligence, insurance coverage disputes, catastrophic insurance defense, and general tort litigation. In the nursing home realm, Jerry advises and defends long-term care facilities in tort litigation and regulatory action across the country and serves as national nursing home counsel for a large insurer of long-term care facilities. Jerry also has extensive experience representing insurers in coverage disputes, including declaratory judgment actions. Jerry's broad background in tort litigation includes both state and federal matters ranging from catastrophic injury cases, property damage, and contract disputes to more complicated construction litigation, consumer fraud, and class action litigation.

Christopher specializes in defending healthcare providers, including hospitals, nursing homes, and individual physicians, in medical malpractice actions, and boasts an impressive record of jury trial victories in multiple states. Christopher also counsels hospitals and nursing homes on statutory compliance, risk management, and various other legal issues. Jane A. Stevens is an associate at Huston & May, LLC, whose practice focuses primarily on the defense of hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other medical care providers. A seasoned litigator, Ms. Stevens brings to the Firm extensive experience in all aspects of medical malpractice defense trial practice, from initial investigation and claims assessment through the discovery process and at trial. Ms. Stevens is especially adept in identifying potential avenues for early case resolution, particularly through targeted dismissal motion practice and development of summary judgment motions, and boasts an enviable record of prevailing on those typically hotly-contested motions.
